Decent FALL COLORS at a MN county park that was created by flooding a valley

This area was flooded years ago to make a county lake and campground. Maybe the best colors I've seen around SE Minnesota this year.

So true. Never thought about it that way but SE MN is kind of lacking on decent lakes. You made me lol though.

Thanks for sharing, you have about the same color level we have in NE Ohio. How close are you to the Great Lakes in MN?

Rochester (my home town) is 3.5 hours south of Lake Superior. Probably won't make it up to the North Shore this year because of work/time constraints, but it is absolutely gorgeous up there. (might be past peak colors right now though)
