Designed a fan mount to cool the Mini 3 Pro when doing FW updates

You need an 80mm fan to complete.

It was made from a scan of the Mini 3 Pro and so clips in to place and seals over the vents perfectly.

Curious where you plug in the fan? That looks to be a DC computer fan?
Just soldered a 5.5mm DC barrel socket to it. Can use prtetty much any 12V wall-wart that way.
 
Before you consider this , they do have more stream line fans that fit under the drone, that may offer less drag an a better option.

Huh? It's not for flying with. It's for on the ground. Drag on a stationary object is not really an issue.

Nice job and design. Have you considered using a 5V fan and power it from the charging hub? Just my $0.02 worth.
 
Yeah, could do. I didn't have a 5v fan kicking around. Sounds like a good idea though.
