Difference in Home Point Settings?

Hi folks!
Is there a difference between the two home point settings? One states"The Home Point will be set to the aircraft's current position...", and the other one says "The Home point will be set to your current position...", so I assumed one was RTH to point of take-off, and the other one was Dynamic, which RTH's to where you and your remote controller is (Obviously not always the same). However, I tested both settings, and the Air RTH'd to point of take-off both times. So what is the difference?
Thanks!

When you set the home point to the aircraft's current position, the home point will be set to the location where the Mavic is currently flying. And when it's set to your current position, it'll be set to the current location reported by your mobile device (assuming it contains a GPS receiver). If the Mavic or remote controller move after the home point has been set, you'll need to manually reset the home point again to move it from the last set position.

In Litchi, you can click and drag the home point to a new location on the map or enable the dynamic home point feature to allow Litchi to automatically update the home point as your mobile device moves.

Thanks. So if I'm understanding correctly, there are 3 home settings, no?
1. RTH where the drone took off from?
2. RTH where the drone is currently at?
(Which would be the same if you do not change the RTH home point)
3. RTH where the controller/smart phone is?
Assuming you go in and change 2&3 while flying?

Yes.

The Mavic will set #1 before taking off (or when it establishes a usable GPS connection). It's best to wait until that home point has been marked on the map before taking off.

#2 and #3 are the locations where you can manually reset the home point to after taking off. Most people are probably not resetting the home point after taking off.
