Different Air 2S Remote ID question

It seems that long ago you could edit one of the fields to reflect your FAA Operator ID.
Not sure that's an issue in the US since the FAA wants the RID provided in the about menu.
However in the EU I believe that it's supposed to broadcast your operator ID.
In that case it would need to be edited.
Is that possible? Will DJI enable editing if it detects you're in the EU?

I think you could just enter your operator ID instead of the Drone Name.
Here in the US when we register the drones with the FAA they ask if it is RID Compliant and we put in the RID number.

Yes, but it used to be you could do as I stated - put in your FAA ID.
Now the dust has settled you just register the ID that DJI has with the FAA.
BTW - The ninnies at DJI inhibit editing the field unless you're in the EU at which point they enable editing.
They finally verified that with me.
