Difficult to remove battery from drone

I cannot get the battery out of the drone easily. I do not want to poke it with anything so as to not damage it.
I can only push the tab so far with my fingernail.

Squeeze here with your thumb and pointer finger -- and pull the battery straight out. You'll need to pull a bit to slide it out.
