disconnected and controller says ready to fly

Try a different cable from the controller to your device.

I have same problem, and I've tried everything. my RC does not want to connect to my phone at all . everything was fine till Saturday and suddenly the video gone and it says disconnected. I'm trying to get in touch with DJI it's look alike it some sort of problem in side the RC and not the software.

Be clear. What says disconnected? What is disconnected?
You can perfectly well fly with no mobile device connected.

I can fy drone with RC no problem but RC doesn't connect to the IPhone. everything is ok apart connection between the phone and RC. ON the phone dji go app in the top left corner says disconnected. no matter what I did it still saying disconnected. I've tried ipad and another iPhone same disconnected.but I can connect to the drone via wifi direct from the phone no problem at all. all works perfect.

You do only have one of the USB cables plugged in, right? If you are using the plug on the bottom of the RC, then the side connector MUST be unplugged or this will happen.
