Hi Pilot people

I was testing out the distance and height on my new Mavic.

Upon reaching 500m distance the controller lost signal and suggested adjusting the settings to go further. How can this be done?

The upwards height locked out at 120m but I assume this can be unlocked too? May I ask the limit for this.

I was flying over farm land so the distance and controller linkage was vital, I hope you fellows can help.

Disable the "Enable Max Distance" setting in the following section of DJI GO:

The limit is 500 meters above the takeoff location. You can adjust the max flight altitude setting in the following section of DJI GO:

Enable max distance - if this is green, does this mean the craft can fly to the max distance or that the craft is limited in distance.

And, when attached to the craft are settings saved for the next flight or are these needs to be set on each flight?

Enable max distance - if this is green, does this mean the craft can fly to the max distance or that the craft is limited in distance.

When green, the setting is enabled. You'll then be limited to the max distance you set. When disabled, you can fly until the remote controller disconnects from the Mavic.

The settings will be saved as long as the Mavic is connected to DJI GO. However, it's not a bad idea to confirm all important settings (e.g. RTH Altitude) before flying each time.
