Distances in cities?

just curious what kind of distances people are seeing being at ground level in cities/neighborhoods?
I’m gonna have to test my Raptor XR in the country it seems.

In my area, a little over a mile.

In the country would be the best place to try for distance anyway .I do all mine from a hill over nothing but new growth pines and
can stay low yet have full signal as long as my battery will allow .

I also read that you should use 2.4 out in the country as well.
