Welcome to the forum from the land of Oz. I don’t believe you can do waypoints with DJI 4. You have to use a third party app such as litchi, p4 d capture or drone deploy.

I use the Waypoints on Mavic 2 Pro. I can pre-program the route at my desk and store it for use at the film/flying site. I do not think you can transfer that file. If you use a Mavic 2 Pro there are several very nice You Tube videos explaining it. I have used it a lot and am very happy with the results.

Is that Go4 or a different app? I just tried it with go 4 and it says 'cannot use this function without taking off'.

If it is like the P3P, you must be airborne to initiate intelligent flight modes such as waypoints.

Must fly the waypoint mission and mark them while flying in go4..
Litchi u can program from desk/ laptop/ or device

Not sure- go to the intelligent flight modes and see if waypoints are there.
