DJI AIR 3S modified with a 6800mAh oxygen-ion battery, achieving an ultra-long 1.08-hour flight time. This is currently the most refined modification, maintaining the original appearance while ensuring DJI Care Refresh and warranty remain unaffected.

Would love to see some specifications on the cells used in the battery pack.

Is it possible that this battery uses a Li-O2 or Li-air cell chemistry?

I’m just curious what type of cell is used and what is used to charge the pack.

If it heats up and damages the Drones components, I would say DJI would not honor any warranty.
In fact they clearly state that your warranty is invalid when using after-market Batteries.

Yes, the oxygen-ion battery cells have many advantages. The modified battery looks exactly the same as the original. It can be charged using the original charging hub.

Yes, but if you use another original battery when claiming warranty or DJI Care Refresh services, it won't have any impact. There are many real cases confirming this. The modified battery is simply to meet personal needs for longer and higher flights.

Hey how do I talk private with you

Nah - US law says you can't deny warranty based on non-OEM consumables.
You buy a Fram air filter for your Honda CR-V and it doesn't affect your warranty.

Agreed, you cannot deny warranty based on the usage of non-OEM alone; however, if it is determined the non-OEM parts are the reasonable cause for the failure then there is a case for arbitration. If DJI did not want you to use non-OEM batteries, they should block them.

I’m still curious what the actual chemistry is being used in these batteries. There is no way it is oxygen-ion tech as the operating temps would be prohibitively high.

I did find a hint of information on a lithium-oxygen or lithium-air technology, but no real stats on it. No info on if it is being manufactured or just experimental.

As long as it's normal filming and not aggressive sport mode flying, it usually allows our AIR3S to fly for 50-65 minutes. It performs well without any issues like thermal expansion and does not affect flight parameter settings. This modified battery upgrade is not just about replacing the battery cells; it involves a combination of software and hardware adjustments. After upgrading to high-capacity cells, the smart battery chip parameters are fine-tuned to match the factory settings.

US law says manufacturer's can deny warranty claims if they can prove the aftermarket item caused the damage, such as creating excessive heat that causes component failure. On top of that, if dji denies your warranty claim, you will have to take them to court in order to force them to pay, you can't just call the cops and claim dji broke the law and have the cops force them to pay your claim.

Is the modified battery upgrade, with smart battery chip parameters already fine-tuned to match factory settings, currently available to purchase from you or anyone else? Shipped price to U.S.?

Obviously, if using a battery like this, I couldn’t care less about the DJI warranty! LOL!

Got to love the 4G dongle signal in the city!

It appears that the OP is sharing his own successful experiments in creating the battery, and it is not currently available for sale by him or anyone else. It's only a concept battery, with proof of concept in the shared video.
