It is louder then my air 2, air 2 s have more electronics so maybe they put in a faster fan.

In all the YouTube channels I've asked and other forums, they say it's "normal"

I would expect that it will be working flat out with drone just sitting there. The battery and electronics heat up quickly and rely on airflow to keep within operational temperature.
On a hot day they will show overheat warning and shut down , if left sitting without props going.

sounds ok to me try moving the drone about see if you can hear any pitch changes or anything catching.my first sounded like an electric shaver.
