No thanks, it will be more interesting if they partner with Apple in creating a drone that have the logic board and processor from Apple.
Yeah, I would hate to CTR+ALT+DEL mid-flight to kill the app and have to reboot LOLNo thanks, it will be more interesting if they partner with Apple in creating a drone that have the logic board and processor from Apple.
What's full flight control? How's that different to the controls we have now? More telemetry? More smart automation?
Sounds like just a marketing speak. To me, it's sounds like DJI giving Microsoft SDK for them to develop software, like giving Litchi and other 3rd party app developers the SDK to create iOS and Android app. Perhaps here's more functions in the SDK that Microsoft can use, for commercial and industrial application, instead of just waypoint missions for the consumer space. They dont mention it in the video, but it is mentioned in the first paragraph of the article.
sounds like Skynet is taking shape
It'll definitely make DJI stronger in the drone industry.
I am sure there are a few John Connors out there. As for THE John Conner, not sure.I wonder if John Connor has been born yet?
True but Mac and other platforms are getting popular because a lot of people dislike windows 10 GUI. I went all Mac because windows 10 is so horrible to me. Windows 7 was the last best OS that Microsoft made that had the same Windows 95 traditional interface. If a Microsoft/DJI partnership makes DJI software more Windows friendly, I am all for it. Windows 10 alone is 6 - 8x more popular than Mac on a global scale and Android is almost 4x as popular as Ios..
