DJI app for OSX

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site & just bought my Mavic. I was wondering how the DJIGo app was? I noticed it got terrible reviews, but most of the youtube vids I watched where app failure occurred, the pilot was using the djigo app with a droid. How is it with apple?

I use it with my iPhone 7, never had an issue on any of my DJI drones.

My Iphone 6 works great with the DJI GO 4 app.
Be sure you are using the
DJI GO 4 app for the MAVIC.
