DJI App resetting settings

Hello
I hope someone out there can help me. I have just bought the DJI Mini SE which I love though it is my first drone and there are a lot of new skills to learn. This may be a dim question, but I have spent many hours watching youtube videos to try to set the best settings for the app (camera settings/gimbal settings etc). This takes about 20 minutes for me. For some reason, every time I prepare the drone for a new flight, all my settings have been lost. Can anyone please help.

I did a search for you and didn't see much, either. I'm ASSUMING you have your phone/screen properly updated to it's latest and also both your controller and the UAS were completely updated at the house with current firmware and software before attempting flight, correct?

Just trying to narrow down your issue..

the thing is there is really nothing you have to "do" in order for the settings to remain. After an update it is not unusual to see some settings reset but other than that they should remain constant...
