Does DJI care refresh still send a replacement if you are unable to get to your aircraft currently 80 feet into a tree?

'still' implies they did before. You always had to provide the damaged unit to get a refresh. There may have been rare exceptions

It sucks that you paid a lot of money to DJI to provide a new one and still you need to have the old one available. I think with State farm insurance personal policy. You don't need to provide the product and still they give you the cost of the aircraft. So you can buy another one.
People have used fishing poles, bows and arrows, and other drones to rescue drones from trees.
I tried a fire house and asked them if they wanted a training exercise to get it, since it is over 80 feet. 
No dice.
So walked to Best Buy and got another one.
Next question is: can I transfer a care refresh?
