RTH works at any strong wind no problem even at mountains. just simply red letters writing bulshit.I am a new flip user. I have the Mavic 2 also. I just found out about something I never experienced before. When flying my flip I ran into higher than normal winds I was only up about 160 feet but what I didn't know is RTH doesn't work when wind is high. I will have to be more careful in that regard in case in I lose line of site and get turned around.
Lol good to know tyRTH works at any strong wind no problem even at mountains. just simply red letters writing bulshit.
Why not join the FlipPilots forum (link at bottom of this page) and post your observations over there. It would be helpful to other Flip pilots and to new pilots considering the Flip.I am a new flip user. I have the Mavic 2 also. I just found out about something I never experienced before. That's your choice and you have a right to your opinion.I'm not interested in the Flip and even if I was, I would not register to another forum.
I follow too many forums as it is and don't need another.
I have mentioned this for the NEO but the owner of this forum just doesn't get the message.
All opinions should be respected. IMHO, it's just a name.That's your choice and you have a right to your opinion.
In my view the NEO and Flip are unique products and do not fit into the MavicPilots forum, just like the FVP drones like the Avata's. If you want to find information specific to the Flip you do not have to wade through a ton of irrelevant information on the MavicPilot's forum to find it, you just go to the appropriate forum. The NEO forum is quite active and there is lots of useful and helpful information on it. The Flip forum will likely get more traction as more and more people acquire Flip's making the information posted there helpful.

I never suggested that you didn't.Never said I didn't respect your opinion.
Against my better judgement and convictions, I followed your advice (sort-of) and registered on the NeoPilot forum although it's pretty much dead.Why not join the F̶l̶i̶p̶P̶i̶l̶o̶t̶s̶ NeoPilots forum (l̶i̶n̶k̶ a̶t̶ b̶o̶t̶t̶o̶m̶ o̶f̶ t̶h̶i̶s̶ p̶a̶g̶e̶) and post your observations over there. It would be helpful to other F̶l̶i̶p̶P̶i̶l̶o̶t̶s̶ NeoPilots and to new pilots considering the F̶l̶i̶p̶ Neo.

As you already know, I disagree with you. The problem with one ‘Everything’ forum is it keeps getting bigger and bigger as more drone models are added.@Chrislaf
@clackey
This happens every time a forum operator expands too fast and sucks liquidity out of the forums he created. The NEO forum is dead. All your hear is crickets unfortunately. Same thing will happen with the Flip forum, just watch. Same thing for the Commercial Drone Pilot forum. We could use some of their comments here if we had a section for them.
Liquidity is what makes this forum attractive.
Best thing is to funnel activity here by adding other sections for other DJI drones.
I encourage everyone to support this suggestion by contacting the administrator.
"Liquidity Breeds Liquidity".
Hi Chris, that's all good and as you know, I don't mind any contra-opinions.As you already know, I disagree with you. The problem with one ‘Everything’ forum is it keeps getting bigger and bigger as more drone models are added.
With any new forum activity does taper off after the drone is released but picks up again as new accessories are announced/released like the Goggles N3 or new firmware is released.
I personally am glad there is a separate NEO forum dedicated to it as I think there would be much less interest in discussing news and issues related to it on a forum dedicated to Mavics. The same goes for the Flip although it has a lot of similarities to the NEO.
