DJI Fly stopped working

Hey guys

I've used DJI fly for at least 3 years (mavic mini) with my Samsung Galaxy a21 android phone. And recently the app stopped working correctly. i factory reset the phone thinking it may have updated. No luck. I tried many different versions of the app. Some versions won't open at all when i click on the icon. Others, like the latest version, set up well but then say remote not attached to controller. i changed the RC cable with a new one.

I probably should just get a remote with screen and be done with it, but the nature of the problem does annoy me, i don't want to admit defeat.

Any ideas?

I'm amazed by how easy you guys are factory resetting your phones. Then having to set up all your apps again?

I think the core of the problem lies in the updated security settings when the phone/tablet gets bumped up to the newest firmware/security updates. Google play protect and the 'unknown app' setting seem to be causing the problems (android user). Had this happen with both phone and tablet three times now... and yes, it is a pain in the nuts.

yeah its a pain. But so is having your drone look at you with a sad look on his face lol
