FPVDronePilots forum is / was set up to cater for traditional FPV though, wasn't it ?

The DJI FPV drone is sort of unique to those, being a hybrid type aircraft / system, the ability to have it behave like any of our Mavics, Airs, Minis in flight stability, or the ability to have it do more adventurous manual acro flying.

I think a lot of trad FPV pilots would sort of feel uncomfortable with DJI FPV pilots getting their posts into the mix there.

DJI naming the new drone FPV is a bit unfortunate and confusing in that regard, a bit like them calling their newer googles FPV goggles, names with too broad a brush.

It was DroneRacingPilots then this new drone came out and was a section placed in there for just the DJI FPV and the name changed.
The traditional flyers and new guys are getting along fine.
Being this new drone can fly manual it was just logical to place it there. Who else better to help the new flyers than experienced
pilots.

Just be glad it wasn't called the DJI Mavic FPV !! ha ha

the way things are going with DJI dropping the Mavic name from their latest offerings ,we will have to rename this forum to the( DJI Formally Known as DJI Mavic forum )
