Is it true that DJI GO 4 crashes a lot on android phones? I have a Galaxy S6 Edge and so far DJI GO works fine, no crashes. I am hesitant to upgrade to 4 if there are going to be a lot of problems.

Not crashes. There are disconnect issues if you use the side USB connector. Remove the cable from the side connector and use the bottom connector and you should be fine

I had a few crashes on my Pixel XL until I started switching Auto-rotate off on the display settings before running DJI Go 4.

I wouldn't be surprised if the crashes were related to the extra display settings/features that are on Android 7.1.1, which the Pixel XL is running.

As long I turn off the auto-rotate in display settings before running DJI Go 4, it is working well, even from the side USB port.

I believe you can have both DJI Go app and DJI Go 4 installed simultaneously.

I had a lot of crashes on my LG G3. The app would quit altogether, besides the really bad blocked pixels, glitches of all sorts, no connexion problems and all.
Since I received my Shield K1, all of this is over: DJI GO4 runs smooth and I can start to enjoy very much my flights with the Mavic.
