DJI GO4 - AutoFocus Square on screen is RED

Any idea why the AutoFocus square on the screen will not go from Red to Green?

Here's what he sent to me along with a screen shot of what it looks like:

P4P v2….. DJIGO4 v4.3.46 on an

iPad mini 5th gen on iOS 15.3.1

Looks to me like the area where the focus square is located, the camera can't find any focus. Does it change any if he moves the focus point down to something that has some contrast?

It stays this way regardless where it's pointed including in the field. I asked him for a screen shot so I would "show" what he was talking about when I posted the question on the forum.

Has he tried switching it to MF and see if it will manually focus? If it can't, I'd say the focus motor is bad.

I just asked and I'll update this thread when I hear back. Seems like a very logical conclusion
