DJI Mavic 4 Pro vs. DJI Mini 5 Pro

The real question is what you are using it for and what are your travel requirements. I have moved from drones that carried my DSLR to the Mini 5 Pro and couldn't be happier. Sure, there are things the Mavic 4 Pro can do that the Mini cant - the question is do you need it at the additional cost (price/weight/portability/etc.).

I have always had a backpack to carry my drones. At first, they were custom due to the size of the equipment (3DR Solo) - and were so large with extra batteries and supplies, I couldn't wear it on a motorcycle with a passenger. Things got smaller with my Mavic 2 and 2 Pro but were still bulky. Things got real easy and small with the mini series (I currently have the Mini 5 Pro).

I can get the Mini 5 Pro up and running in less than 2 minutes if I hadn't planned on using it. In less than 60 seconds if I am expecting I will want to use it and everything is in close reach. The Mini does everything I need - fast setup, awesome pictures and video, simple operation in a package that is so easy to carry or have close by. Which means I use it more. Range, speed, wind capability, obstacle avoidance, battery life and picture/video quality is excellent and all I need. And I am not afraid of it (in terms of cost). Bang for the buck, it is at such a sweet spot.
