This is practically free. I just used a piece of electrical wire and some electrical tape. I guess It‘ll do until they cone out with Mavic air 2 specific mounts.26F31427-12C9-44BC-958D-7EC5870F6A69.jpeg5482D43F-AE1C-4DA7-B444-F82CF7A63414.jpeg291AA10C-C1D9-4BE3-B8E7-1C9C9F3EBF0C.jpeg1DAEBD70-433C-4744-97C0-7BDC194FAC0F.jpeg

I tried this with my iPad Mini 4 and it's been a great inexpensive solution. I was also thinking about gluing the two pieces together for security. So far, I haven't noticed the separation that @Shazbot documented.

I may try this with my iPad Pro 10.5 and see how that works for me.

One thing I've noticed with the Mini: the clip overlaps the top of the screen and makes it difficult to touch some parts if I go into the Settings menu. Nothing that a little trim won't fix. :)

I only saw separation when I tried the 10inch tablet. No issues when using the mini.
And yes, the front tab blocks one of the settings in the app. I need to trim it as well.

ok, found a piece of acrylic glass (plexiglass) and using hot air gun managed to get it in shape
works a charm :)20200520_164349.jpg20200520_164358.jpg20200520_164444.jpg20200520_164452.jpg20200520_164349.jpg20200520_164358.jpg20200520_164444.jpg20200520_164452.jpg

That's great!
I wanted to try something similar using a plastic putty knife, but I don't have a hot air gun.
you might use hairdryer or heater fan, less convenient but will work (at least heater fan) ...or flames from gas cooker, just dont set yourself on fire :)
2-3mm acrylic should get soft enough it you'll dip it in boiling water for a few minutes
