Hi.
I am new to the forum so please excuse me if I am posting incorrectly.
Long story short -
I have a DJI Mavic Air 2 which I purchased accident damaged.

I have repaired the drone and it flys perfectly and the camera works as it should however I am still having issues with the gimbal.

When I start the drone, the gimbal calibrates on the left / right axis only. It does not go up or down or swivel (as if looking on a clock face going clockwise / anti clockwise)

I have replaced the gimbal assembly and both leads to the gimbal. I have also tried the calibration using python etc.

I have an error 40002 that is showing on screen which show “gimbal stuck” which it is not, it moves freely and it is also behaving exactly the same as it was prior to the parts being replaced.

Does anyone have any advice on further steps I can take to sort this issue out?

Many thanks.

If you "roll" the gimbal gently around with one finger do you feel Anything.

Hi. Thank you for your reply.
If I understand your question correctly If I attempt to move the camera body up and down I feel resistant. The clock face movement moves freely with no resistance.

Hi. Thank you for your input.
However the gimbal isn’t actually stuck. It is in its correct position and moves freely.
I have also replaced the gimbal assembly and it behaves exactly as it did (so both gimbal assembly’s are the same)
