Yep, I used neutral NDs for years in my traditional landscape photography.

I’m not a big fan of anything which slows the shutter while doing still photos on an airborne platform. And in video the moving transition would be too much to manage, for me anyway.

Pushing the highlights and pulling the shadows usually results in a good range on Mavic DNGs, especially when doing a Multi exposure stack.

But, all that said, I could see an occasional situation where these could improve things, especially for those not having access to Photoshop, Lightroom etc.
