Hello all. I have the 4K mini and love it. Have almost 200 flights. Been wanting to add audio to my videos. I'm not the most technology advanced person on here. I ordered the DJI Mic Mini. It appears to be able to be connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I loaded the Mimo app as suggested. I can get the mic to connect for calls only. I can't seem to get it to connect for anything else. Once connect via Bluetooth and the light stays blue, I tried recording a video on my phone and the mic wasn't picking up. I tried recording with the audio recorder app on my phone and it wasn't picking up. In the Mimo app when I press the mic symbol the settings menu comes up but all I can do there is turn the light the mic off and on, auto off and noise cancelation. Exit is the only other option. What am I missing here? Thanks for any help or advice.

Or you could get really close to the mic and make "The buzzing noise, That's all your gonna hear anyways. I have been recording with a Go-Pro on Drones for a while now, and thats It Throttle sounds.

I may be mistaken but it sounds like you're videoing from your drone. I'm just wanting to speak into a mic on my shirt and then overlay it on the video later.

With some of the DJI remote controls you can attach a mic or its receiver to the usb c port on the bottom of the remote and the audio from the mic is overlaid onto the video.

Agreed still do it with a 360 camera and audio. It still adds something

The DJI Mic Mini is soewhat special. It doesn't connect as a standard microphone to any app, but just to special apps such as the Mimo app if used in combination with a DJI smartphone gimbal, the Fly app if used with Neo or Flip, or the Protake camera app (Android).

Thanks for the replies. I've seen people using them. Not sure how they're doing it. I've tried everything and nothing works. I guess I just wasted money. Any suggestions as to a mic that actually works and will record sound? Ive seen a couple but they want to plug in to the charging port in your phone. Since my drone likes to be plugged in to that same port, that's not possible. The dji mini advertises to transmit Bluetooth. I guess that's false advertisement.

You have to use a 3rd party app like Blackmagic Camera. The mic doesn't work with the phone video camera app.
