I want to do content creation like outdoor vlogging with my air 3 and I want to get the mic 2 for recording audio for the video is there anyway I can get the mic to connect to the drone or controller directly or do I have to record the video and audio separately and add them in post production. I know I can connect the mic to to other products but I have bad impulsive spending habits and want to try to use what I have right now.

The rone doesn't have a build-in microphone. If it did all you would pickup with the noise of the motors and propellers. Just record locally and synchronize during video edit and production.

well no duh it doesnt have a built in mic i just feel like they should add compatibility for there mic series to the drone I don't see any reason as to why they wouldnt I'm just trying to see if there is an easier way to do it then syncing up the audio to the video

well no I don't want to record the drone I want to record MYSELF with a microphone in my hand but I was wondering if there was an easier way to add the audio into the video such as using the DJI mic 2 or mic mini but I don't know how or if I can connect it

I just though of the jankiest set up I'm not trying it but its just a thought. what if the receiver was plugged into the usb-c slot for the air 3. if there's a lad mad enough out there to try it pls let me know

Mount the Go-pro ON the Drone and film yourself with it e.g.

You would have to add the audio later. You wouldnt be able to record any kind of sound from the Drone itself (prop noise)
