I am going to buy mini 4 pro core-board for replacement, i can calibrate gimbal using python as well. I have a dought, as there i no any vision sensor calibration on omnidirectional sensors as in mavic 3 series, does it require the same on mini 4 pro drones as well for vision sensor calibration after core-board change ? Has anyone here change the core-board of mini 4 pro before? Please share your experience.

Already? 🫨

In any case, are you sure you can do this? My understanding is you need an internal DJI tool to "pair" the camera module to the main board, separate entirely from calibration.

Best of luck to you, and if you get it to work please share the details!

I am late on this, but for any future people who want to repair these MIni4 pros you need to know Python can't do the camera calibration. There is no COM port to be found when you connect the drone to the PC and you can't do the Vision sensors calibration without sending the drone to them. They take off the calibration tool from Assistant 2.

hi, Rishu do have any idea how much is the price for that 3rd party software? and where we can buy it?

How can I do the mini 4 pro gimbal calibration with python?

I would wish you good luck with the Python script. My experience is it has not been updated for some time now. I had issues getting it to find the com ports on my laptop Win 10. It seems to be written for a desktop. There was nothing I found that would do the vision sensors. Ultimately I sent it to Cloud City Drones for the calibrations. I ended up with a brand new replacement drone sent back. Ok, that was fine with me. It is a regular PIA to solder on all the arms to the boards as it is kind of tight to get them all done. It is so tempting to get a slightly damaged drone for real cheap and it really is not to technically challenging to swap the parts, but they, DJI, made it near impossible to get all the bits working together again. I did it because I wanted to try to do full spectrum conversion on the drone, like I did with the Mavic 2 Pro. Didn't want to rip apart a perfectly good drone to start with. It was kind of an exercise in futility and ultimately I would have been better off to just have started with a good used one in the first place. Sad.
