As I have said numerous times, this move by the government was a monetary move to give US makers of drones a better chance at a bigger market share. Not only was Skydio quick to jump in on it, but they sure tried to make DJI to be a bad guy. It wouldn't surprise me if they were not directly involved.

COMMERCE DEPARTMENT ADD DJI TO ITS ECONOMIC BLACKLIST
There is no DJI ban. Please disregard any story that says there is.
And several more that were closed as this will be and just post in those but doubt very seriously
that were in it as they have parts from china also.
