DJI OUT OF BUSINESS for selling Mini 4 Pro in USA !!!!
Last December, I ordered a Mini 4 Pro from an Amazon reseller (BIG MISTAKE), who lied about shipping from US warehouse and instead shipped via DHL from Mainland Communist China, and let the drone rot in customs for a month, doing nothing.
I then ordered direct from DJI, who immediately shipped from Hong Kong, via DHL. The drone sat in customs for a week, then rejected. DJI wanted to cancel/refund, but then agreed to ship within a week, via UPS. We were both aware that DJI needed to include documentation with the shipment that the Mini 4 Pro is not made with Chinese Slave Labor, and the units would clear customs.
Six weeks later, DJI shipped via FedEX, but failed to update their ordering website as promised, that would have provided me with shipping information and tracking number. After the Mini 4 Pro sat in customs for two weeks, DJI called me directly, informing me that FedEx needs me to contact them with additional information in order for the package to clear customs. I immediately called FedEx (called twice to confirm, as I did not believe them the first time) , who told me that all was good, no additional information was needed , that the package was released by customs and I should have it in a day or two.
This morning the FedEx web site says the drone is being returned to Hong Kong. I called FedEx, who confirmed that the prior day at 6pm Memphis time, the two other FedEx agents lied to me, as the package was already rejected, with return tracking number assigned, NOT cleared to final destination.
I then called DJI, who said they needed to cancel my months old order, they have no product (Mini 4 Pro) to ship, and are out of business in the US market !!! They can only get small accessories/batteries through customs and can no longer ship drones. I asked them WHY then did not update the web site as promised, to let me know of the shipment, and WHY did they wait to tell me to contact FedEx with required customs clearance information, when customs had already rejected. There was NO reason, answer, explanation, as to why they are not able to ship drone products into US market.
