DJI RC Pro Black screen

Hello.

I have an RC Pro that I’ve been using for a while and yesterday it freezed the screen after one flight and started to reboot, only the DJI logo screen appeared in the reboot and I had to turn it off and on again.

After turning on, It kept the DJI logo screen for a while and then went full black. Turned it on and off again, black screen only this time and it stayed with a green light blinking for a while (20-30s).

Turned it off, waited a few minutes, turned it on and it seemed ok. Was able to make another flight, no issues.

This morning went to do another flight, it turned in normally and before take off, when trying to chage some camera settings it freezed again, then went to black screen. One more turn off and on and this time I only have a black screen, nothing else.

The battery os full, tried to turn it on connected to the usb-c power socket, to a power bank, press the power button for several times, tried the “hard reset” (C1 + C2 + Record button) and no luck.

Any idea what can be happening and any solution besides sending it back to repair? I’m in vacations so it’s a bummer not being able to use my drone due to this issue.

Press and hold your power button for 15-20 seconds to force it off. then restart.
OR
Update the Controllers firmware. Only use the DJI site and assistant 2 when updating!
OR
You may have a recently Downloaded app playing havoc with the controller. If so delete the downloaded app.
Sorry But if none of these clears the Error Your Controller needs to be sent back.

Could the RC have become too hot from sitting in the sun?
