Having applied the hack, (photo enclosed which I think denotes it being in FCC mode) I've not actually
noticed any difference in range / strength at the outer limits of my vlos with the std controller which seems
odd, unless i've got it wrong re the successful application of the FCC mode (see pic)
It was wind of 10mph and gusts of 19mph and I was at a location I always use for range testing/signal strength
but suffice to say it was dropping off signal where normally it doesn't.
