Edit: Forgot to mention i started with fw V1.2.0200 and during process it was upgraded to V1.3.1400 my bad dont want to put you on wrong path

If you intend to use Drone-hacks as a source: their page gives you access to a "bird map" which details what hack features are available for which device (on a firmware-by-firmware interactive list) and also advises what firmware is recommended.
