I ordered some generic "tempered glass" screen protectors specifically made for the DJI RC and it looks great, I'm not noticing any significant decrease in viewing quality, even in bright sun.

I got some from amazon which fit perfect. There was a blue tint to them but when using the remote it looks fine.
Maybe some sort of sun protection

FWIW, I bought a Sunnylife screen protector-cum-sunhood but it doesn't stay open so useless as a sunhood.
