Hi all,
I ordered something from DJI that was in stock and for delivery but I was unaware the delivery would be from China. I saw an estimated 2-3 days timescale when placing the order, but I am now told by DJI customer service that it could take 3-5 days for clearance and then an unknown amount of days after that. The issue I have is that I purchased the device for my holiday on the 25th which is a week from this Saturday. Am I likely to see the item by then? At the moment I have a tracking number that simply states "shipment information received" even though the email states "shipped". The customer rep would not confirm if I would see it in time for my holiday and no one will be home to claim it if it arrives after this time! Can anyone help me and put my mind at ease?

I had heard that their delivery time meant it was in the warehouse, and being prepared for sending out. How long it takes after the depends on the carrier. Was it DHL or FedEx or who? You could try and contact the help desk of the carrier to see when they expect it to be out for delivery to your address. Standard China post could take a few weeks to over 6 weeks but a carrier like DHL or FedEx would be just a matter of five days or so I would think. Good luck finding out.

DJI items sent from the UK are from a fulfilment centre in the UK, typically. depending on the item it may be dropshipped.

What carrier have they shipped it with? If DHL then it's most likely from China, and if it says "shipment information received" then it would usually be around 4 working days until it arrives.

If it's with DPD then it's from the UK.
