Dji Smart Controller when in flight all Data information disappears to show only Video

Weird one for you all or maybe its just me not understanding during a flight on Mavic 2 Pro today I noticed that around the 15 minute mark on each flight the display would only show the Video Feed and not show the Control App information all the icons have gone. I know you can't press the Back / Return button that closes the DJI App and touching and holding screen doesn't do anything else.

I must admit I'm a newbie and frightened to test any other buttons just incase the drone shoots off somewhere

cant say I ever noticed mine ever doing that, I fly using this setup, uncluttered camera view on the monitor with all the other goings on on the SC, and the icons and all the other info are always there on the SC and never disappear with time in the air.

I don't know if it's the same with the SC ... but with the regular RC + mobile device you can single or double finger swipe the screen up or down then only the video feed is shown without telemetries, this feature for framing purposes. Perhaps similar here ..?

Try using your finger to swipe up or down your in full screen mode

yes it happens. You can double tap the screen as I recall.

Thankyou all yes I have tried to replicate but it wouldn’t go back to a blank video screen I will be flying Tommorow so can confirm then thanks again for all your input
