A very good procedure is to use the search function on the forum.
Nearly everything as basic as this has been covered numerous times.......
Additionally, you appear to be talking about a commercial flight, since you are in the UK, you presumably hold PfCO. Your NQE would have taken you through the procedure for gaining permissions within an ATC area and how to contact them.
DJI will not grant unlocking ‘adjacent’ to an airport without the requisite documentation to prove you have both the authority and permission to operate there.
