Do I need cell service for the DJI GO app to work

There are many areas where there is no cell service. Will the DJI GO app work in these areas? Can maps be pre-loaded into the GO app at home, before going to an area that has no service, and then used there?

You do not need cell service to use DJI GO. Yes, you can cache the maps in DJI GO before you head out to fly.
