Do we have a problem with low flying airliners in the US?

I'm basing it on whether they are above me or below me in the camera view. I don't know their altitude, but I do know mine. There is an airport about 5 miles away and we see them all the time.
If you are at a given altitude and can see the other aircraft below you, then yes, they are that low. However, as a drone pilot too, it is not that easy to see an airplane that is below you in the view finder of your phone or Smart Controller.

In fact, even sitting in the cockpit, it can be difficult to see another aircraft that is lower than you, because it gets mixed in with the background ground clutter, of the land mass. Therefore, seeing it on a phone screen is even more difficult, because you are looking through a wide angle lens, and the aircraft will be absolutely tiny on the screen.

I am not doubting that you say you see them all the time this low, but in all my years of flying real aircraft in many different states and countries, I can say I have never seen pilots flying that low when in the vicinity of an airport. Basically, there is no need to be flying that low and as stated, a pilot knows that such altitude is dangerous to be at.
