Hasn't this been shown to be not the case at all?It also impedes air flow into the bird to cool the electronics.
it may not overheat it but no doubt that little small hole will increase the temp of the electronics and will tend to decrease performance as heat is its worse enemy.Hasn't this been shown to be not the case at all?
Having said that, I would never fly with it on for other reasons including glare and poor optics.
Okay. But there have been multiple posts saying that that is not, in fact, the case. But again, flying with it on is a bad idea for other reasons.this is basically a bench test not real usage ,the mavic generates alot of heat idling and choking of 95%+ airflow has to affect it,maybe not to the point of operation interference but has to affect performance.
we can amicably agree to disagree however one of my hobbys is building water cooled pc's and have worked with most every heat issue possible,i agree with thunderdrones point that when airflow is choked down the speed of airflow is increased however when doing so the cfm is reduced resulting in a less cooling effectOkay. Do you guys fly with the clear dome that comes with the mavic pro?
I feel like I'm getting a reflection and poor video with it on.
