Arenal i wasnt able to because of the weather that time. Go to el avion restaurant in manuel Antonio and look for ken. Hes the manager there and a fellow mavic pilot. You can bring the drone into the park. Beautiful beaches there. Maybe you can go to jaco beach too. Check my youtube channel under chad noval.

Alos, has anyone had any luck registering their drone with the DGAC? I went to the website, but there is only an option to log in once you have a number.

I just phoned dgac in Costa Rica and chatted with a nice gentleman there. He stated that we do not need a licence or have to register our drones for personal use. If its commercial then you will need to. I wish their website would translate to english.

At the entrance of manuel antonio nationalpark they are checking bags for drones. It‘s not allowed to fly inside the park. I just had to promise that I will not fly and could take the drone with me.
