This is my first official thread, so be gentle
. The best laid plans...ever hear that? Well my hopes of flying my shiny new Mini 2 off the deck of my summer cabin over the waters of Puget Sound have been dashed.
It seems that just 850 feet in front of my property there is a big red no fly zone. Unbeknownst to me all these years, but apparently imposed in July of 2018. Here's a photo followed by my question(s):

The big blotch of purple indicates the area of concern. Somewhere I read about leaving 3000 feet of distance between one of these zones. But my confusion is, when I place a pin over my cabin on the B4UFLY app, it clearly says 'Clear for Takeoff'. Am I to understand that this is to mean I can fly UP TO but NOT INTO said boundary? And to this end I'm guessing that requesting a LAANC authorization won't get me in the back door.
Thanks
