Not a common thing, but can happen. You did take the lens cap off right?Does anyone know about the motor overheating and gimbal stuck in mini 4k?
It would appear that your situation is uniquely yours… On the internet (from all over the world) the only issues that keep cropping up are Firmware Update issues.motor overheating and gimbal stuck in mini 4k
yes I did it carefully. Not a common thing, but can happen. You did take the lens cap off right?
I fly from local terrain and I tried to clean it up but no success. It would appear that your situation is uniquely yours… On the internet (from all over the world) the only issues that keep cropping up are Firmware Update issues.
Most say they have problem even applying the Update and problems after the Update is applied…) . I do not own one so I do not know...
A Motor that over heats is uncommon enough but in such a new model that sounds like a warranty issue. The stuck Gimbal; without more data, and knowing how and where you fly (Nepal) but from what surface? A stuck Gimbal, if not caused by a crash is often an issue with dirt, do you use a Landing Pad or do you fly from the local terrain (dirt, mud, rocky surface, etc…)?
I tried that too but no luck.Welcome from Kentucky, Try using compressed air to blow out the dust and dirt.
Not heard of that, but welcome to the forum from the UK! As others have said, could be gunk or as a result of gimbal cover being on when drone switched on. Have you had any error messages come up on the RC?Does anyone know about the motor overheating and gimbal stuck in mini 4k?
Well, do not fly from the ground or learn to hand catch and launch. You probably got all types of dirt in the gimbal assembly and you said you used compressed air, did you use "clean" compressed air from a can, not your local garage tire compressor. And do it again with clean air, it's a small expense, to save you a repair bill.I fly from local terrain and I tried to clean it up but no success.
We don't get air cans in Nepal but I used medical grade air from compressor which I believe is clean. I will try to hand launch if it gets repaired. For the warranty I have to ask my friend because it was a gift from one of my friends from Germany.Well, do not fly from the ground or learn to hand catch and launch. When you spray the clean air, do not let the blast of the air slap the gimbal all around, you are just cleaning out any debris that might be in the pivot points. Remember, the gimbal is the most delicate part on your drone.
As for the overheated motor, you did not tell us if the drone is under warranty or not…
My RC doesn't have display. But I didn't get any errors for RC in my phone display. Not heard of that, but welcome to the forum from the UK! As others have said, could be gunk or as a result of gimbal cover being on when drone switched on. Have you had any error messages come up on the RC?
The Medical Grade Air is more than accurate and it is very clean… If the drone is still under warranty, you may have to ship it back to your friend in Germany as your friend is the original purchaser and there may be special aspects of that drone is only repairable in Europe and not in Asia…I used medical grade air from compressor and My RC doesn't have display.
