Hi all, This question came up on the Tellopilots.com forum. I'm sure the answer may be YES, but... It used to state you had to register if your UAS weighed .55-55lbs. Now it only states less than 55lbs. To fly a Tello or any toy UAS per say that weighs less than 250gm, does it require registration and will this also require a Part 107 certificate if you fly for profit?

Thanks in advance for any input. I've done some extensive research through the FAA's website as well as all the DJI related @pilots forums and have come up empty.

Thank you, that's what I thought but needed verification.

Sorry don't post much, but I actively read almost everything on these forums. Started with phantom pilots in 2016. First time I've had to ask a question and got a quick and well answered response. I will definatly pay for the lifetime membership.

Thanks again
Inno

I'm thinking that if you are able to "sell" the image quality of the Tello....I want you selling for me!!! (Yes I have a Tello as well)

The video is only 720, but the pic's aren't that bad. Why this person was asking, I'm not sure. But they asked.
