Does the iPhone 12 pro max fit on the Mavic Pro 1 controller?

I've seen plenty of posts on here about the 12 Pro Max with newer Mavic's, but I can't find any about the original Mavic Pro 1. The manual says it will fit a phone up to 160mm in length, and the Pro Max is 160.8mm... Is it actually going to be .8 mm too big? Or can it be made to fit?

I use iPhone 12 Pro Max without an iPhone protective case for Mavic Pro 1 and for Mavic Air 1. But it is OK to use the controller with the case on for my Mavic Air 2. When I use the iPhone without a case it is a little too eazy to hit the turn off button on the phone which is bad
