Did anyone see the change in download speed since the firmware update?
I did the recent firmware update Sunday 5/10/20 I didn't notice any change
Has anyone else ?????

No change in speed here.....

some here have reported a doubling in download speed. You should be able to find those posts through the search function.

It's going to be much faster to pop the SD card and copy direct from that to your computer than downloading with a cable.

I saw a slight improvement compared with the previous FW around +1 Mbps (reaching 5 Mbps at times during the download process). Not tested this, but I think transferring data via WiFi may be affected by WiFi interference.
