Drone class - Advice needed

My dads computer club asked me to teach classes on drones. We'll be meeting 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for two hours, 1pm - 3pm.

Any advice to fill the time?
This probably will turn into more of a SIG, perhaps class "field trips" to a nearby park, though we'll start with flights in the parking lot. I'm sure many of those attending will have other makes than DJI.

I have to ask... What are your credentials? Do you fly for fun or do you have a 107?

I fly for fun. It's an informal class. Most attending probably just started.
One experienced begger showing new buggers where to find food.

Start with the local/state laws then faa rules.
Then safety and proper stuff. Then equipment, inspections, tech stuff, then some airtime and then follow up. Easy 6-8 hours.

Please include (since this is a computer class) how to find the rules using the ‘puter. Include NOTAMS, TFRs, NFZs, differences between NFZs and No drone take off and landing areas, etc. How about the AMA Safety Policy listings.
