Loved it. Thanks for putting this together.Drone Flights Over English Heritage Sites
Uk law states there is no minimum distance from people or property for a 249 g
Drones under 250g can be flown close to and over people but not crowds. All drones, regardless of weight have a maximum legally allowed flying height above the surface of 400 feet, or 120m. All drones, regardless of weight need to be kept within Visual Line of Sight of the pilot at all times.
Thanks for getting back to me. What does the law specify when it says close to or over, as a safe min. distance, regarding people? Of course, there is no one who owns the airspace and as a UK Pilot I know that the CAA controls this. However, I was wondering if there are regulations put out for English Heritage, like national Trust, that don't allow you to be on their property when flying or taking off and landing.Uk law states there is no minimum distance from people or property for a 249 g drone and the caa are the people and the only people who have permission for the airspace
