Surely, he flew forward and then reversed the footage. Right? Either that or he had an amazing spotter to guide him.

Yeah! Forward or backward, some very impressive flying!

Very impressive, especially being one take! Holy cryps! Rather a virtuoso, I would say, which is neither faint nor unmitigated praise. That is, a brilliant technical performance doesn't necessarily result in the most pleasing experience for the audience.

A film with cuts, fades, slow movements, pans and cranes (and a whole host of other cinematic techniques), perhaps would leave us stunned about the dinosaurs, rather than the pilot.

But that is some kick-*** flying right there; hats off!
