Absolutely its a toy poddel God willing will be able to find him i can't imagine loosing my dog
Well that’s not going to be easy to find. Hope it’s a light color and
dont risk yourself to snakebite or your drone. You know how well
you can fly so don’t push it.

Am just giving you a soul in need.
I wish i can help. I dont care if faa gives me a ticket or something but i’m in canada. All the best for rescue team?⚽️?

Well that’s up to you. Whatever you take just remember to set that Rth to hover and don’t know about down there but here the snakes are moving a lot so just be prepared. As one said most dogs can’t stand the noise from a drone so use that to your advantage.

I wish all the best of luck, but finding a small dog in the woods with a drone would be difficult to impossible. See if the owners know how the dog responds to a drone. Some run away, some want to chase it, and some don't react at all. Perhaps fly high on the outbound leg and lower coming back. That way if it reacts you may either drive it or lead it back to you.

Best of luck....don't mean to sound morbid or anything, but the first thing I thought of with the location of Kissimmee Florida: Alligators....everywhere.....

By all means take all of your equipment including items to keep you comfortable and safe. Be sure to take a backpack with food/water supplies as well. Keep YOUR safety first and foremost as to avoid making it a Human Search & Rescue.

Also check the AIRSPACE in the area to make sure you're not busting regulations.

Sorry we couldn’t help your kid their dog because I need to follow FAA guidelines.

I’m sorry but some people take this stuff way too serious. It’s a remote control camera not a 747. Im sure you all drive the speed limit too? I’m not saying don’t follow the rules but if you have a tool that can help someone than help them. Use your best judgement.
My response to the question posed by @dirkclod in post 2 was by the book because that's what he asked. If I did not have a 107 rating and was in the area, I would be there in a second. After all, in an emergency situation, any and all FAA Regulations can be disregarded as needed to deal with the situation, and I would take that to a jury of my peers any day.

I would too but within reason. I would not interfer if there was already
a operation in affect with aircraft involved and sure you wouldn’t ether. But a man has to do what a man has to do .?
