I see a lot of discussions here about skins and I’ve seen some really amazing colors, but one thing that should be taken into consideration is what your drone may appear to look like from a predators view that’s above your AC.

Get familiar with the local birds in your area, try to select a color that will keep them away from your AC, and not looking like a tasty morsel.

So I guess worm colored/textured is out of the question

That’s a good point. Maybe worth investigation as to what would the best colour be to keep dicky birds away, assuming we don’t have the one exception of a colour blind hawk diving down onto the MP for a snack. I assume that birdies do see in colour otherwise they wouldn’t have such lovely plumage to attract a mate.
